Rob and the family

Rob Ludeman was born and raised in Toledo.  He is the son of Katherine and Willis Ludeman.  Rob’s Dad was Lucas County Probate Court Judge for 22 years.  Rob attended Heather Downs Elementary School and Bowsher High School, graduating in 1971.  He is a 1975 graduate of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio with a BA in Political Science.  It was at Wittenberg that he met his wife of 38 years, Elaine.  Rob attended The University of Toledo School of Law for one year before becoming licensed to sell real estate in Ohio.  He is currently licensed with The Danberry Co., and is a Life Member of the Toledo Board of Realtors President’s Club and is a regular member of The Danberry Company’s President’s Club comprised of the top twenty five agents by sales volume.

Rob and Elaine have two children, Pete and Mary.  Pete resides in the Greater Cincinnati Area with his wife Suzanne, daughters Ridley and Vivienne and son Lennox.  Mary and her husband John Mikesell live in South Toledo with their daughters Brianna and Maggie.  Rob and Elaine also live in South Toledo with their dog Hoover.

Rob was on Toledo City Council from 1994 through 2007 as the representative for District 2.  He served as President of Toledo City Council in 2006 and 2007.  Because of term limits he could not run for the district seat in 2007.  He has an At-Large seat on Toledo City Council, elected in 2009, and continues his public service.  He brought his experience, common sense, and a renewed vision and energy to City Council. He is running for re-election this year.
